During the Holland Dance Festival in Den Haag in Korzo Theater. It is the title of a poems collection which there is only one copy, „Drops of rain in perfect days of June“. Middle of the 90s, the Brazilian poet and writer Caique Ferreira, Mark Sieczkarek's Friend, died of AIDS. Inspired by his bitter and fragile verses between hope and despair, Mark Sieczkarek expressed his sorrow of his lost in pictures. A requiem and at the same time a celebration of the life on earth. A profoundly individual piece but also a dance from the distance. „Drops of rain in perfect days of June“, is a piece which touch contrasts and simultaneity. From life to death, beauty and pain. From gentle Brazilian songs and hard Afro Brazilian Beats. A spring-multicolored carpet is hanging and falls down to cover the wall and the floor of the stage with flowers and leavers. A silhouette of a person is cut into the carpet, which open a door to another world. From this door dancers enter the space, walk in the darkness and disappear. Mark Sieczkarek lets speak the soul of his dance deeply moved by his life.
