This visual piece explore the moving friendship between the eccentric poet Else Lasker-Schüler and the expressionist painter Franz Marc. The spectators is taken on a time journey to the beginning of the last century, "The golden age“. Culture and technology soar to unexpected heights; but in the horizon of the time somber clouds gather: apocalyptic visions, the world fire anticipated by the First World War. The piece shows the dreams and hopes, but also the errors of the expressionist generation.
